Natural ways to lighten up your skin | Skin bleaching without side effects

Some months ago, I ran a poll on my Facebook business page asking people to list out some of the methods of lightening up one’s skin they think is most effective and unsurprisingly enough, the most common method they listed out was “bleaching”but only 3% wrote about the Natural way of lighten up your skin

Like I mentioned above, I wasn’t surprised in any way as I was expecting such answers. However, bleaching the skin is an ineffective and dangerous way of lightening up one’s skin. While it is one of the fastest ways of lightening up your skin as some bleaching creams can produce results in just 2 weeks, it is very harmful and causes severe damages to the human skin.

You see, 90% of the lightening creams you see being sold today contains a compound called Hydroquinone which is one of the causes of skin cancer so I advise you stay away from them. So, if using bleaching cream is out of the question, what method(s) can be used to effectively lighten up one’s skin? Well, that is what this article is all about as I will be revealing 3 safe and natural ways to lighten up your skin.

Method Number One 

Honey:

Yes honey; Honey is a very good substance for bleaching the skin to a better and lighter color, it can serve as a moisturizer and also helps clear out black spot which sadly is one of the important things many toning creams fail to do.
Apart from helping bleach the skin to a better and lighter color, honey also possesses an antibacterial substance that can eliminate acne spots.
Method of Application
•    Get an original made honey (you can find them in popular grocery stores)
•    Gently apply the honey on your face and any other region of your body you desire a change in complexion.
•    Leave the honey mask on your face for about 20-30 minutes.
•    Rinse with lukewarm water (be careful not to apply extra force on your face when washing)
•    I recommend you do this daily for effective results and preferably at night before going to bed.
Continue with the methods listed above and in the next 7-14days you will see the changes in your skin that you’ve always wanted; you can then proudly show off your newly toned skin 

Method Number Two

Yogurt:

It is very hard to believe that consuming Yogurt can help lighten up one’s skin but it is the truth. Some of the drinks/foods we take for granted these days can be very helpful to our body and Yogurt is just one of them.
Yogurt contains lactic acid and many other nutrients which are very beneficial to the health of your skin. Yogurt as we all know is a by-product of milk and it is very effective for skin toning.
To get the best results, I will be sharing some application tips below. Feel free to choose anyone you like and follow it thoroughly:
Method of Application
•    Mix two tablespoon of pure honey with 1 tablespoon of fresh Yogurt. Gently apply the mixture on your face and other parts of your body, (leave out sensitive parts like genitals etc,) leave for 15 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water. Continue with this until you get the desired result you want.

•    Very gently, massage 1 tablespoon of fresh Yogurt on your face and other parts of your body and leave for 7 minutes and wash it off using lukewarm water. Continue with this until you see your skin beginning to lighten up.
I recommend you use plain Yogurt to get the best results. Supermarkets and grocery stores around you are replete with them.

Method Three

Oranges

 You can buy all the skin toning creams in the market from now till the end of the world but if they do not contain Vitamin C in them, then I am sorry to inform you that you are simply wasting your money. You see, when it comes to skin care and beauty, one of the most important ingredients is Vitamin C and oranges are an embodiment of this wonderful vitamin.
Think about this, have you noticed that people who consume lots of oranges have better skin texture and beauty as compared to other people who don’t? Perhaps you have a friend/relative who does; have you noticed his/her flawless skin? Won’t you just want to have that kind of skin? Well, the secret is Vitamin C.
Simply put – More oranges = More Vitamin C
                       More Vitamin C = Better Skin Texture and beauty
Topping it up, it is important to mention that oranges contain powerful bleaching properties that can tone up your skin.
Method of Application:
Get Turmeric; mix a pinch of it with 2 table spoon of orange juice in order to make a paste out of it.
Apply the mixture you have developed on your face and any part of your body you wish to tone and leave it on for 6-7 hours.
Except you are a work-from-home type of person, I strongly advise your apply this on your face before going to bed so you can wash it off in the morning.
Turmeric is also available for sale in some local grocery stores.

Conclusion

One of the things I have come to learn over the years and perhaps it is still one of the reasons why I can boast of a beautiful flawless skin that would turn heads around today; is not to settle for anything less.
Believe me, your skin is your reflection and it says a whole lot about you. I don’t think you would like people to think of you as being selfish on yourself; this is why you should always go for the best products when it comes to your looks.

Fortunately for you, the skin lightening steps and tips I have shared and discussed with you in this article are very natural and exceptionally effective and you won’t even have to pay through your noses just to get them as they are very cheap.
